Hello,

My name is Rebecca Austin (Bec), and I am 34 years old from Warwick, Qld.

I am studying via distance online and doing this part time as i work full time as an Office Manager/NDIS Plan Manager at Catalyst Accounting & Tax, have two (2) beautiful kids and a hubby that works away in the mines.

I am excited and extremely nervous to be studying my Bachelor of Accounting/Bachelor of Business. My goal is to progress in my career and to come to a better understanding of my role within the business, oh and to hopefully understand what i actually do everyday at work, rather than just doing it. Haha

I look forward to seeing everyone’s blog’s and learning with you all, as i am sure i will have a million questions. Feel free to say hi and give as much feedback as you like. I am so out of my element here and need all the help i can get!

  3. Hey Bec, what a great blog you have hear. I’ve had a quick read through your company. I must say when I started my steps 3 – 6, and asked myself if i was OK with my company, i thought “well, I am glad I didn’t have to pick one!” however, having worked for Australian Vintage, as a cold caller a few years ago, I definitely would have found this company profile interesting! Hope your studies are going well… Feel free to head over to my page, My company is Bravura Solutions.     1. Hi Gayle, thank you for checking out my blog! I will be sure to have a look at yours too! I am super behind this week, sick children tend to do this so the next few days will be crazy for me. Haha but I’m nearly done. How cool that you used to work for Australian Vintage! I do find them interesting. I cannot believe i had never heard of them before now. Best of luck in your studies also!
